The Church in Ayia Napa

The Venetian Monastery in Ayia Napa has now been closed for extensive restoration and will be turned into a museum. This means that the Anglican congregation can no longer use it for services during the summer months and they are once more using the Scandinavian Church.

The Team Ministry has now been blessed by the addition of the Rev. Dr. Lawrence Hilditch as Associate Minister and Stuart Plowman as Reader.

Social events are an important part of the chaplaincy life especially shared meals. The last service at the Monastery was followed by a bring-and-share lunch in the Monastery grounds, concluding with a boat trip along the coast of Ayia Napa.
