During the past year the Diocese of Exeter, through Nigel Speller, has filled 8 requests for locum priests in Cyprus and the Gulf, and the first placement in Exeter Diocese of a Deacon from Cyprus took place. Once again Palm Crosses for parishes within the Exeter Diocese were received from chaplaincies in Cyprus and the Gulf. After more than a decade as chairman of the Liaison Group with the Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf Nigel Speller has now handed that role to Oliver Mayfield, Nigel remains a member of the Committee of the “Friends”. |
