Earlier in the year Kenya experienced unrest
and violence.
Bishop Gideon sent a message
asking for our prayers. He said that the church is in the
forefront of bringing unity. He addressed the nation through the
media urging people to restrain from violence. Christians
collected donations to help the affected. Most people have been
left homeless, property destroyed and many lives lost.
Bishop Gideon asked the Christians of Cyprus and the Gulf “to
continue praying for our country that God may restore peace and
tranquillity and that his love may abide in His people.”
