In Aden, where there is the great burden of cataract blindness, the clinic at Ras Morbat continues wonderful work amongst eye patients as well as the general medical clinic. There is still a need for someone, not necessarily an eye surgeon, but a dedicated Christian with vision, experience and compassion to head up and oversee the work of the eye clinic and its long term development.

As well as the work of the clinic, there is now a strong ministry to seafarers. As so often happens amongst seafarers, problems arise when crews are not paid and then stranded with little help. The members of Christchurch have been looking after 21 such stranded seafarers. Many of this African group are devout and enthusiastic Christians and bring much exuberant worship to the church.
