This year, St Helena's hosted the Synod Eucharist. The church was full and although still on crutches, Bishop Clive was able to celebrate the Eucharist. |

| Members at synod this year heard of the "water ministry" taken up by members of the Canterbury Group. This involves the kind act of taking water and biscuits to the outdoor workers working on the roads and highways under the relentless sun. This is a truly compassionate gesture |
