Maggie Le-Roy, the Retreat Facilitator, has been developing retreat work within the Diocese over the last two years and this work has highlighted the need for a Retreat House.

Bishop Clive, Dean Steve Collis and Maggie have looked at various possible options for developing a retreat house and, from September 2006, the Diocese will be renting a small property in the village of Kapades, 30km south of Nicosia for this purpose.
Maggie writes, “ It has been an incredible two years of seeing God build the retreat work on Cyprus and wider in the Province. God has enabled all costs to be covered by donations from participants and the generous giving of time and travel costs by those leading the retreats. It is a wonderful privilege to see folk leave from retreats relaxed and refreshed, having met with God, been spiritually resourced and ready (though reluctant!) to enter into the fray of life again.”
