St. Barnabas, Limassol

Sunday School continues to flourish and the children thoroughly enjoy all their activities.
(Pamela wrote a Sunday School report and, although last Christmas has long gone, I felt her last paragraph in the report should be shared with Friends.  Ed.)

"I cannot finish this report without mentioning the last Nativity Service which culminated with our very own star, Anna, aged four, walking down the aisle holding her Mother's hands.  Anna was born brain-damaged and her father approached our church for support in helping "pattern" Anna as they hoped to follow a programme developed in Philadelphia.   Some members of our church answered this request and Anna is making wonderful progress.  Two volunteers work for an hour at a time and this is carried out twice daily, so many volunteers are needed.  There wasn't a dry eye in the house - or in the Church - and the Nativity Service conveyed the true message of Christmas."
