Farewells have been said to the Revd Anwar and Mrs Usha Khan. For more than twenty four years Anwar has been Pastor of the Urdu congregation at the NEC. Both have been regular members of the Sunday morning congregation at St Christopher’s Cathedral with Anwar regularly partaking in administering the sacrament. They have been involved in the Ecumenical Conference of Charity (ECC) assisting with spiritual guidance and moral support to migrant workers. Usher has been involved in the prison ministry. They have been a great asset to the Pakistan Embassy with meeting some of the needs of the Pakistani population.
