Many of the Friends of the Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf will have met or been in receipt of correspondence from Leslie over past years. She had been associated with All Hallows for nearly 50 years.

Early in the life of the Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf, when All Hallows became the venue for the Annual Reunions, Leslie became interested in the many different dimensions of the Diocese and was invited to take on the role of link with all the different chaplaincies. Every other month she collected the All Hallows newsletter and wrote an accompanying letter to each chaplaincy. If you attended a Reunion at All Hallows it’s possible you met Leslie even if you didn’t discover her name as she greeted as many Friends as she could.

Leslie was able to attend the 2006 Annual Reunion of the Friends when Bishop Clive gave her a vote of thanks as she officially retired from this link. Leslie was very chuffed to receive this accolade publicly and often spoke of the event over the last year.
