Toybox is the name of a UK-based Christian charity working with indigenous partners to create hope and change for street children and their communities in Latin America. In her book Angela Murray describes some of the appalling conditions under which many of the children live on the streets in Guatemala.

She includes a number of the children’s own stories which she heard while working in Guatemala and, as quoted on the book’s cover, they are “amazing stories of hope”. Certainly they are stories of encouragement for those of us who attempt to follow the command “Love your Neighbour”. They can also serve to remind us that, “while we may not be able to change the whole world”, it is possible to change the whole world of some.  So we can pray, we can give and even buy the book and learn of some of the wonderful results that are being achieved.
