Diocesan Prayer Fellowship

Ayia Napa/Protaras

29th July, 2007
The Eighth Sunday after Trinity

Mary, Martha and Lazarus, companions of our Lord

We ask everyone to pray fervently for us as we launch ourselves into 'Mission'.  Following our Church Conference in April we became very enthusiastic about the future here.  We realised that we are called to the 'Great Commission' and we have responded in very challenging ways.

We have a Vision of what the church in this place will look like in 5 years time and we have a new 'Mission Statement'.  We believe that both are of God and we are excited.  We take as our model the early church and the first Disciples.

Pray for Michael, Stuart and Lawrence as they seek to lead the church into this Mission, for the PCC as they seek to provide the wherewithal for this work to be done, and for the people4 of the fellowship, that their level of enthusiasm so evident will not wane but will increase.

Please pray that we will be faithful to the Gospel Mission and that we all will allow God to 'break us, melt us, mould us, fill us!'

We thank God that He has been with us in the past and we humbly ask Him to remain in us for the future.
