Mighty God, by whose grace Elizabeth rejoiced
with Mary and greeted her as the mother of the
Lord: look with favour on your lowly servants
that, with Mary, we may magnify your holy name
and rejoice to acclaim her Son our Saviour, who is
alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy

For the living world, praying for forgiveness for the
times when we harm the work of God’s hands.
TUESDAY - JUNE 3RD For all who work in business, trade and commerce.
WEDNESDAY - JUNE 4TH For all who employ God-giving gifts of skill, craft, and artistry.
THURSDAY - JUNE 5TH For the unemployed.
FRIDAY - JUNE 6TH For the retired.
SATURDAY - JUNE 7TH For young and old, poor and rich, weak and influential, that the love of Christ may bind us together.

 

Bountiful God, giver of all gifts,
who poured your Spirit upon your servant Barnabas
and gave him grace to encourage others:
help us, by his example,
to be generous in our judgements
and unselfish in our service;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,

MONDAY - JUNE 9TH
 
The Church Council, the verger, the church cleaner, the sales table team and the team of ladies who visit the elderly.
TUESDAY - JUNE 10TH The Prayer Group which meets on Tuesdays in church at 9.30am.
WEDNESDAY - JUNE 11TH
St Barnabas the Apostle
The Bible Study group which meets on Wednesdays at 4pm.
THURSDAY - JUNE 12TH The baptism , wedding and funeral ministries and those to be confirmed.
FRIDAY - JUNE 13TH All who help with the reading and intercession during Sunday morning Eucharist;
SATURDAY - JUNE 14TH The outreach work of the Church.

Pray for World Leaders, and especially those governing the countries making up the Diocese. In Cyprus we pray for a way to be found to bring the two communities together enabling them to live together in harmony without
dividing lines.
MONDAY - JUNE 16TH Iraq: nation and people.
TUESDAY - JUNE 17TH The United Arab Emirates: nations and peoples.
WEDNESDAY - JUNE 18TH
 
Bahrain and Qatar: nations and peoples.

FRIDAY - JUNE 20TH Saudi Arabia and Oman: nations and peoples.
SATURDAY - JUNE 21ST Yemen: nation and people.
Sovereign Lord of men and nations, we pray for
rulers and statesmen who are called to leadership
among their fellow countrymen; give them vision to
see far into the issues of their time, courage to
uphold what they believe to be right, and integrity
in their words and motives and may their service to
their people promote the welfare and peace of
mankind; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

and sent to prepare the way of your Son our Saviour
by the preaching of repentance:
lead us to repent according to his preaching and,
after his example, constantly to speak the truth,
boldly to rebuke vice, and patiently to suffer for the
truth’s sake; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,

St Paul’s Cathedral, Nicosia: Archdeacon Stephen  and Kath Collis.  The work of Chris and DeAnne Hertzog - among children and young families. The ever growing closer relationship between the Nicosia International Church, under the guidance of the Reverend Rick Dugan, and St.
Paul's.
MONDAY - JUNE 30TH Thanks to God for the increasing opportunities for Christians from St. Paul's to visit the Nicosia prison.  Guidance and direction for the future of House
Groups and Bible Studies. The need for spiritual growth and understanding amongst the congregations meeting at St. Paul's.
