Diocesan Prayer Fellowship

We ask your prayers for the life of the ancient Christian church in Qatar and for our building on the foundation laid by Christians many centuries ago.
For God's blessing on the church building project, the building committee and the fund raising committee;
For the ministry to the ever growing expatriate population in Qatar.

On Thursday we commemorate St. Cecilia, usually associated with music, so we ask prayers for all musicians. For all who serve our churches as organists, musicians and music groups. For all composers and that our modern Christian music may be an inspiration and worthy expression of our faith and theology. We give thanks for the joy and inspiration we receive through our worship of God using music.

Lord, open our eyes to your presence. Grant us a vision to
see what we can achieve. As your love touches us, may we
reach out to others. Lord, stretch our capabilities, extend
our vision and increase our sense of purpose, that we may
grow in our service of you, one God, now and for ever.
