| Thursday | Luke the Evangelist |
| This
week we remember the work of the diocesan staff, particularly in
this time of interregnum we pray for the appointment of our new
bishop. We pray for all the work that goes on in the diocesan
office often unseen by most in the diocese, remembering David
Hardacre, diocesan secretary; Georgia Katsantonis, bishop's
secretary; Anetta Stylianou, office secretary; Michalis Patsalides,
accountant and Savvas Demetriou, administrative assistant. We pray for the work of the Standing and Finance Committee meeting at this time and for God's grace and discernment in their meeting and decision making. This week we celebrate the feast day of St. Luke the Evangelist on Wednesday, for all churches dedicated to St. Luke and all who bear his name. |

Almighty God,
who inspired your servant Luke the physician to declare in the
Gospel the love and healing power of your Son: Graciously continue in your Church the same love and power to heal, to the praise and glory of your Name; through your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen |

God, our
light and our salvation: illuminate our lives, that we may see your goodness in the land of the living, and looking on your beauty may be changed into the likeness of Jesus Christ our Lord |
