An all-island retreat organised by St Paul’s Cathedral began yesterday at St George-in-the-Forest in the Troodos mountains of Cyprus, led by the Reverend Deborah Moorgas with sessions by Bishop Sean and the Reverend Maria Evangelou. 

The retreat theme is Falling with Faith, framed by James 2:14-26 and drawing from Job 1:18 – 22, Luke 5:37 – 39 and Romans 8:28.

Over the course of two days, participants will be invited to reflect on the question How can our transformation in and through Christ help bring transformation to the Churches we serve in?

There will be opportunities for quiet time and prayer, short contemplative exercises and open discussion—and walks through the restful shade of Troodos forest.
