Maria Evangelou is Community Outreach Coordinator in the Archdeaconry of Cyprus—a post she was appointed to in March 2025.
Born in Birmingham in England, Maria has undertaken studies for a degree in Theology through the Diocesan Exploring Faith programme, run in conjunction with Queen’s College Newfoundland. She also has bachelor’s and postgraduate degrees in nursing, specialising in critical care.
