The Reverend Maria Evangelou is Community Outreach Coordinator in the Archdeaconry of Cyprus—a post she was appointed to in March 2025.
Born in Birmingham in England, Maria has undertaken studies for a degree in Theology through the Diocesan Exploring Faith programme, run in conjunction with Queen’s College Newfoundland. She also has bachelor’s and postgraduate degrees in nursing, specialising in critical care.
