Bishop Sean and the Reverend Jim Young were honoured to lead an act of remembrance at the British Embassy in Dubai on Sunday evening—an event that was a moving tribute “to those who gave their tomorrows for our today”.
The Remembrance Sunday commemorations were hosted by British Consular General Sarah Mooney and Defence Attache Colonel Simon Thomson, with musical accompaniment provided by soloist Melissa Alder singing Fallen Soldier, and the DESS Oud Metha choir.
A morning Remembrance Sunday Service at St Andrew Abu Dhabi led by the Reverend Dr David Jarratt brought together representatives of the international diplomatic community as well as serving members and veterans of the armed forces, with deeply moving music from the BSAK Choir.
