The Reverend Christine Mbona, who was nominated by Archbishop Hosam to serve as Provincial Champion for the International Anglican Family Network earlier this year, has been appointed to the Network steering committee.
“I continue to be grateful and humbled to be connected to the wider church family,” said Revd Christine, who is president of the Diocesan Mothers’ Union, working from St Paul Ahmadi in Kuwait.
St Paul’s will mark International Family Day tomorrow (15 May) with a service including guest congregations and members of local churches of the Anglican Communion. IAFN team leader Maranda St John Nicolle, director of Christian Concern for One World, will be guest speaker, joining the service online.
