An informal ecumenical gathering of church leaders was convened today on behalf of Metropolitan Ghattas, by Fr Ephrem at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in Kuwait City, to welcome Bishop Sean on his current visit to the country.

The event offered “a welcome opportunity for constructive discussion on a wide range of Christian subjects, in an atmosphere of generosity and good humour”, said Bishop Sean.

He was accompanied by the Reverend Canon Dr Michael Mbona, parish priest at St Paul Ahmadi.
