AED training at St Paul’s

The people of St Paul’s Cathedral are grateful to Nursing Officer Sylvia Pitsillidou, who yesterday ran a training session in Nicosia on the use of AEDs (automated external defibrillators).

Sylvia works with the Resuscitation Services of the Cypriot Ministry of Health, which is installing defibrillators in public spaces across the island.

St Paul’s is fortunate to have its own AED, donated by the late Margaret Michaelides.

The training was organised by the Reverend Maria Evangelou, Community Outreach Coordinator in the Archdeaconry of Cyprus.
