A wonderful service of Holy Eucharist was held at the Cathedral of St John the Divine in New York on Sunday (15 December), where Bishop Sean had the honour of preaching.

Bishop Sean thanked those who supported the Diocese, including the Episcopal Church of the United States, whose generosity through the Good Friday Offering had, on many occasions, “enabled our diocese to survive existential threats”.

Recalling the Prophet Isaiah’s vision of a restored future, he said: “Please remember your brothers and sisters in Christ who minister in the Middle East, and pray that through their faithful presence, the living water of Christ might break forth in the wilderness and flow in the desert.”
