CCJA Mothers’ Union launches

Christ Church Jebel Ali Mothers’ Union launched today with the welcoming of new members Sakhile Damba, Joyce Jera, Daniella (Danni) Melk and Sheryl Young, with the Reverend Jim Young officiating.

The Mothers’ Union has a proud legacy of supporting families, nurturing faith and strengthening communities across the globe. All baptised women are warmly invited to join and become part of this inspiring movement.

“Through our new branch, we are excited to bring this meaningful work to our own local and wider communities,” said Danni, “working to ensure that existing projects continue to thrive, enhancing their reach and launching new initiatives in their support.”

At the heart of the Mothers’ Union are three pillars, to end violence, injustice and poverty—core values that will guide the mission of the CCJA Mothers’ Union as it looks to build partnerships and projects that will make a genuine difference.

“Congratulations to all on their enrolment,” said Danni, “and heartfelt thanks to Fr Jim for his invaluable support throughout our journey.”
