Manisha Cornelius shares news from Jebel Ali, where Christ Church parishioners got together this weekend (16 November) for a hike at Wadi Shawkah.

“What a blessing it was to come together as a Christ Church, Jebel Ali family for an amazing day of adventure and connection. Our hike was filled with laughter, encouragement, and awe-inspiring views of God’s beautiful creation. It was such a joy to share the trail with friends old and new, supporting each other every step of the way.”

In the evening, a few of the hikers stayed on for a barbecue, where the fellowship continued over good food, stories and plenty of laughter.

“We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this day so special,” said Manisha—”whether by organising, grilling or simply showing up with a joyful heart.

“These moments remind us how sweet it is to walk through life together, growing in faith and community. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of fellowship and the chance to experience Your glory in nature and in each other. We can’t wait for our next adventure.”
