Diocesan Clergy Retreat and Pilgrimage in the Holy Land

The Diocesan Clergy Retreat and Pilgrimage in the Holy Land is underway, ending on 4 September—with opportunities to join Bishop Sean and clergy colleagues online along the way.

Visit https://youtu.be/xufD4cBW2n8 to view Bishop Sean’s first of two Reflections from St George’s College. (Visit https://shorturl.at/06tRN for link to Bishop Sean’s second Reflection at 0900 CY/Jerusalem / 1000 UAE on Thursday 4 September.) And keep an eye on the Diocesan Facebook page for livestream Morning and Evening Prayer from St George’s Cathedral.

Although the number of clergy able to attend is small, Bishop Sean is extremely grateful to St George’s College for their offer to host participants for this time of pilgrimage and prayer—and grateful, too, for the opportunity to convey in person the sense of solidarity the people of Cyprus and the Gulf feel for our brothers and sisters in the Diocese of Jerusalem.

The programme begins with a visit to the Mount of Olives this afternoon. Tomorrow the group will visit Mt Sion and the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.
