Harvest gifts from Christ Church Ayia Napa

Donations of non-perishable food collected by the congregation of Christ Church Ayia Napa at the Harvest Service held on Sunday (29 September), were this week delivered to KEPA, a local Christian charity working with people in need.

KEPA director Thomas Anastasiou welcomed Ayia Napa parish priest the Reverend George Vidiakin, introducing him to fellow staff and providing a tour of KEPA facilities, which include the provision of care for the elderly. The charity was founded by the late Fr Evelthon Charalambous, who was known for his ministry to the poor and missionary work, and, as a teacher, for his commitment to education.

Fr George expressed his thanks for the warm welcome extended to him, joining Mr Anastasiou in reaffirming the partnership between KEPA and Christ Church Ayia Napa to support those in need.
