Kuwait at last

After an absence of more than two years because of Covid-19 regulations, Archbishop Michael was able to visit Kuwait in the first days of June and join in English and Urdu liturgies. He was welcomed by Archdeacon Michael Mbona, parish priest, and Mama Christine, along with the Reverend Zhu Peijin, assistant priest, and the wardens and senior laity.

As well as confirming candidates at St Paul Ahmadi and then in Kuwait City the following night, he called on the acting Chairman of the Kuwait Oil Company to thank him for KOC’s continuing provision of building and support services, and had a meeting with Her Excellency Belinda Lewis, British ambassador.
