Clay pots of thanksgiving at Ayia Napa Harvest Sunday

Christ Church Ayia Napa celebrated Harvest Sunday with a spirit of joy, gratitude and community.

“The morning Eucharist brought together both local residents and visiting tourists, united in thanksgiving for God’s goodness, the fruits of creation and the harvest of the Spirit,” said parish priest the Reverend George Vidiakin.

As part of the celebration worshippers brought clay donation pots that they had filled throughout the year. The church also collected food for local charities—part of its ongoing commitment to support those in need in the wider community.

In the afternoon, the celebration continued with a garden party at a private home, a gathering in fellowship to share stories, laughter and a deep sense of belonging—a reflection of the church’s warm hospitality and inclusive spirit.
