Visiting St John’s Anglican Church in Muscat today Bishop Sean was pleased to meet with Mr Ahmed al-Bahrani of the Sultanate of Oman’s Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, and Pastor Ford of the Protestant Church of Oman (PCO).
Bishop Sean warmly thanked Mr al-Bahrani and Pastor Ford, expressing his deep appreciation for the positive partnerships shared with the Ministry of Endowments and the PCO—and the generous fruit those partnerships bore for the Anglican Church in Muscat. In the evening Bishop Sean preached and presided at a well-attended service, where he spoke of continuing to trust God in the recruitment of a new priest for the parish St John’s, and shared news of God’s work in the wider Diocese.
There was a welcome chance to spend time with the congregation after the service, before the Council met with Bishop Sean to discuss future plans for St John Muscat.
