Fr Stefano of St Francis Church Abu Dhabi today (Monday) accompanied Bishop Sean and the Reverend Gill Nisbet on a visit to the Abrahamic Family House, leading them on a guided tour of its church, mosque and synagogue. They were joined by Fr James, a priest from Uganda.
Bishop Sean described the complex as a “deeply inspirational vision of tolerance and interfaith respect, especially at a time of heightened tensions in the world”.
The Abrahamic Family House, which includes a Forum for gathering and dialogue, celebrates “the diversity of our respective faiths, our common humanity, and our togetherness in peace. It is a symbol of hope,” said Bishop Sean; “a place of peaceful coexistence and tolerance.” (Click photos to enlarge; story continues below)

The meeting in Dubai was an opportunity to discuss their ministries, and issues of mutual interest in the Gulf.
Bishop Sean continues his travels in the region this week with a visit to Oman.
