BTh degree awarded in Abu Dhabi

A degree congregation to admit a new Queen’s College graduate to the Bachelor of Theology in Discipleship and Ministry has for the first time been held in Gulf.

Diocesan Director of Ministry and Queen’s adjunct faculty member Archdeacon Christopher Futcher presented the degree to Sneha Jeyaseelan after evening service at St Andrew Abu Dhabi on 5 May, paying tribute to her dedicated work throughout the six-year programme. They were joined by St Andrew’s interim parish priest, the Reverend Gill Nisbet, and a large gathering of family and friends.

This was the fourth graduation ceremony to be held for students enrolled in the Queen’s partnership programme with the Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf, with the previous three held in Cyprus.

Queen’s College was established in 1841 in Newfoundland, Canada.
