“The parishioners of Christ Church Jebel Ali have welcomed the Advent season with joyous hearts and festive cheer,” reports Manisha Cornelius, “spreading the light and love of the season through a lively carolling around town.

“A spirited group of about 40 parishioners, including enthusiastic children, set out in a hired bus at 6 in the evening, to share the message of hope and joy through carols—the vehicle a moving sanctuary of melody, laughter and fellowship as the group sang their way through the city, bringing Christmas cheer to nine homes across Dubai—only wrapping up the memorable journey at 4 in the morning!”

With many expatriates planning early trips back to their home countries, this was a perfect opportunity to bring the Christmas spirit to life in Dubai.

“As the carollers shared the good news of Jesus’s birth, they were met with warm hospitality and love at every stop,” said Manisha. “Each home opened its doors with festive treats, gratitude and heartfelt embraces, reminding everyone of the true meaning of Christmas—sharing and celebrating God’s love together.”
