The Tamil congregation of the Church of Epiphany in Doha celebrated Harvest Festival over the weekend, with more than 200 worshippers gathered amidst gorgeous arrangements of fruits and flowers for a service led by the Reverend MD Johnson, with the Venerable Mark Derry as guest speaker.

The congregation gave generously, both in support of an auction featuring handicrafts contributed by Friday School children, as well as gold, fruit, electronics and other items, and to the thanksgiving offering.

“After the service,” says Revd Johnson, “a wonderful ‘love feast’ of biryani shared the joy with our Anglican Centre staff joining as well.”
