The service, led by the Reverend Canon Faiz Jerjes, included the washing of feet, “dedicated to elderly men and women who are weary,” said Fr Faiz. “It was a beautiful service, despite attendance being lower than usual due to road closures.” (Click to watch video)

 

And, at this time of heightened tensions in the city and across Iraq, Christian and Muslim children of St George’s School of the Redeemer (Al Fadi) gathered with their teacher in a show of national unity.
