Archbishop Michael is pleased to announce the appointment of the Reverend Prem Mitra of Bangalore as parish priest and chaplain of Holy Trinity Dubai. He will take up his post soon, on a date to be confirmed. At Holy Trinity he will follow on after interim ministry by Fr Nelson Fernandez, following Canon Harrison Chinnakumar’s move to the Netherlands.

Fr Prem is currently presbyter in charge of two large congregations, Covenant Church Kormangala and CSI Church Electronic City. He has thirty-four years’ experience of ordained ministry in the Diocese of Karnataka Central, including recent service at St Mark’s Cathedral, Bangalore. He has a special interest in eco-theology.
