Bishop Sean was delighted to lead the Urdu-speaking Kuwait City congregation of the Diocese in worship on Friday—a wonderful day that saw a baptism and seven confirmations, and a service of Holy Communion.
Welcoming Bishop Sean on behalf of the congregation, Surood Shahid Gill said:
“As a congregation, we have grown, we have prayed, and we have hoped. Your second visit is a reminder that we are not forgotten. That even here—in our humble gathering, far from where Church leadership is usually centered—the Spirit of God is moving, and people like you are obedient and sensitive to what the Holy Spirit is instructing you to do and where to be.
“We welcome you today not just as formality, but with full open hearts. You are not here as a guest—you are part of this family. Your presence strengthens us. Your words will guide us, and your prayers will enrich us.”
