St Andrew Kyrenia have raised funds for Bishop Sean’s Advent Appeal for Al Ahli Anglican Hospital in Gaza, collecting donations at a musical event held at the church on Friday (22 November) evening.

Parish priest the Reverend Alec Mitchell and his wife Linda Balfe were very pleased to welcome back to Kyrenia Annelis and Terje Holmedal, from the Norwegian Seamen’s Church, and to meet Pastor Håkon Holmund from the Swedish Church in Ayia Napa.

Annelis and Terje—along with Tommy’s Choir—entertained the audience with songs in Norwegian, Swedish and English.

Delicious cakes and coffee, accompanied by fellowship and conversation, were followed by a moving reflection from Pastor Håkon.
