Bishop Sean and the council of Christ Church Ayia Napa are pleased to announce the selection of the Reverend George Vidiakin as the new house-for-duty parish priest. He will be licensed on 27 July.

Currently Associate Priest at St Helena Larnaca, Fr George is vice-chair of the House of Clergy, and helps organise the Provincial programme ‘Whom shall I send?’ for young people discerning their call to serve as lay or ordained ministers.

Fr George began his ministry in the Russian Orthodox Church and is active in ecumenical and interfaith relations.

George is married to Regina, and they have two children.
